LAIRD Community Grants: Information or Application 2010 Election to the Council Executive and New Membership Orientation The LAIRD District Council provides an opportunity to learn, share, and network with others, this is accomplished by: To create a broad awareness of individuals with developmental disabilities rights. To gain an understanding of service delivery and developmental needs from a consumer's perspective. To seek input from individuals with developmental disabilities relative to all aspects of service planning, development, and history. To actively incorporate input from individuals with developmental disabilities and their families into the planning/development of services for individuals with developmental disabilities.
